Fire Prevention, Welding & Cutting, Steel Erection

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries Charts, 1992-2007, fires and explosions accounted for 3% of workplace fatalities in 2007. Welding and cutting pose a unique combination of both safety and health risks to more than 500,000 workers in a wide variety of industries. The steel erection industry suffers 35 fatal accidents per year and it is estimated that 30 of those deaths will be averted by compliance with the provisions of the standard. Accident prevention by abiding the OSHA standards will be discussed and reviewed during this training.

This training is an elective for the OSHA 30 certification.
